Read about our Apostle
Apostle Christopher Leroy Simmons, Sr. was born and raised in the city of Little Rock, AR, and graduated from the Historic Little Rock Central High School in 1987. After being supernaturally delivered from a crack cocaine addiction in July of 1992, he accepted the call of God on his life to preach the Gospel. In October of that same year, he delivered his first public message at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock, AR., where his Father, the late Rev. Roosevelt Simmons, Sr. served as Pastor.

His Testimony
The Bible
We believe that the bible is God’s word to all men, error free in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
Proverbs 30:5; Psalm 119:105; II Timothy 3:16-17
The Bible
God
We believe that there is One God, Creator of all, existing in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who is all knowing, all seeing, all understanding, all loving, all powerful and holy.
Psalm 90:2; John 1:1-2; 14 and 1 John 5:7
God
Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He is true God and true man. He voluntarily left Heaven to execute the Fathers will. He was born of a virgin, lived a sin free life, was unjustly beaten, persecuted, crucified and died as full payment for our past, present and future sins, breaking the bondage of sin and death, which is separation from God. He rose bodily on the third day, ascended to Heaven, and is now seated on the right hand of the Father, as our High Priest, where He is making intercession for us all. We believe that healing is provided for in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to all those who believe.
Colossians 2:9; Luke 3:21-22; Philippians 2:5-11; Isaiah 53:5
Jesus
The Holy Spirit
We believe that The Holy Spirit has been sent from God to glorify Jesus Christ. He is our comforter, counselor, and teacher. He takes up residence in the body of each individual believer, blessing us with spiritual gifts and empowering us for godly living.
We believe that the baptism with or filling with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, is an experience subsequent to salvation that equips the believer for effective service and is given to believers who desire it.
John 16:7-14; I Corinthians 12:1-11; Galatians 5:22-23; Acts 1:8; Acts 10:44-47; 19:1-7
The Holy Spirit
Man
We believe that man was made in God's image and likeness, to worship God and to live in continual fellowship with Him. Because of Adam's sin, all men are now born sinners, separated from God. But because of the shed blood of Jesus, all hope is not lost.
Genesis 1:27; Genesis 3; Psalm 8:3-6
Man
Salvation
We believe that Salvation is God's free gift to man. It is God's plan for reconciling humanity to Himself. It is a gift that cannot be chosen. It must be received/accepted. Man can never make up for his sins by self-improvement or good works. It is the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection that provide the only grounds for this gift of salvation.
Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9
Salvation
Baptism & Communion
We believe that Baptism and Communion are two ordinances of the church that are to be observed until the time of Christ's return. Baptism by immersion, is an outward expression of us being a new creation in Christ, saved from the penalty, persecution and bondage of sin, submitted to the Lordship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Communion is a memorial meal that gives us a chance to remember Jesus' sacrificial act and His demonstration of how much He loves us and how committed He was to reconciling us back to the Father.
Matthew 26:26-29; II Corinthians 5:17-19; I Peter 3:21
Baptism & Communion
The Church
We believe that the church is made up of all persons who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
I Corinthians 12:12-14
The Church
Leadership
We believe that Jesus Christ leads the local church through the Pastor and an appointed leadership team of called, gifted, and appointed individuals, often referred to in scripture as Elders. By seeking the mind of Christ, depending on the Holy Spirit, and diligently examining the Word of God, the Pastor and Elders provide spiritual oversight and direction for the church. The qualifications of Pastors and Elders are listed in I Timothy and Titus.
I Timothy 3:1-3; Titus 1:5-9; Acts 6:1-6
Leadership
The Return of Christ
Our blessed hope is in the visible, bodily return of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, to receive to Himself His bride, the Church, and establish His kingdom, and reign forever.
Philippians 3:20; Ephesians 5:26-27; Titus 2:13-14
The Return of Christ
Life After Death
We believe that there will be a bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer, to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord in Heaven, and of the unbeliever, to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment in Hell.
Acts 24:15; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelations 20: 11-15

MAKING, MATURING, & MOBILIZING DISCIPLES
A MINISTRY OF EXCELLENCE
In January 2015, after 23 years of serving in several different ministry capacities in churches within the Baptist denomination, God led Apostle Simmons to plant NuLife Christian Fellowship Church, a non-denominational, multicultural ministry in the city of Little Rock. The church was started with the conviction that “when real people, with real problems, meet the real Jesus, they can experience real change”.
